Radiofrequency skin tightening uses monopolar RF technology to deliver controlled thermal energy deep into the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. The heat causes immediate collagen fibre contraction and initiates a long-term collagen remodelling process that continues for months after a single treatment session.

How It Works
Monopolar RF energy delivery
Monopolar RF uses a single-electrode handpiece to deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the tissue, with the current returning through a grounding pad. This creates uniform volumetric heating at depth without surface disruption.
Controlled deep heating
RF energy heats the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue to a therapeutic temperature of 60 to 75 degrees Celsius at depth, while the epidermis is simultaneously cooled to protect the skin surface throughout the treatment.
Immediate collagen contraction
The targeted heat causes immediate contraction of existing collagen fibres, producing a degree of instant tightening visible from the end of the session.
Long-term collagen remodelling
The thermal stimulus activates fibroblasts to produce new collagen over the following 3 to 6 months. This progressive remodelling is the source of the ongoing improvement that develops after treatment.
What to Expect
The Procedure
A full-face treatment takes 60 to 90 minutes. A coupling fluid is applied to the skin and the handpiece is moved continuously across the treatment area. The device delivers real-time temperature feedback to ensure consistent heating at the correct depth. Most customers feel a warm, deep heating sensation that some describe as intense. Eye treatments use a smaller dedicated tip designed for the periorbital zone.
Downtime
None. Mild redness and warmth for a few hours after the session. Skin may feel slightly tighter immediately after. Most customers resume all normal activities the same day.
