Light as Medicine
Light Emitting Diode (LED) therapy delivers specific wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at different depths, triggering targeted cellular responses. Unlike lasers or IPL, it produces no heat and carries minimal to zero downtime, making it suitable as both a standalone and adjunct treatment.
Different wavelengths serve distinct purposes: blue light targets bacteria; red light reduces inflammation and supports healing; near-infrared light reaches deeper tissue to stimulate collagen. Sessions are often combined with other treatments for enhanced results.

What It Treats
Post-Treatment Recovery
Red and near-infrared light accelerate healing and reduce inflammation after facial laser, microneedling, or injectable treatments, making it a useful add-on to other face procedures.
Active Acne
Blue wavelengths destroy Cutibacterium acnes bacteria on the skin surface, reducing active breakout frequency with no irritation.
Post-Treatment Recovery
Red and near-infrared light reduce post-procedure inflammation and accelerate healing after laser, microneedling, or injectable treatments.
Wrinkles & Skin Laxity
Red light stimulates fibroblast activity and collagen production, gradually improving skin firmness and reducing fine lines.
Pigmentation & Uneven Tone
Specific wavelengths regulate melanocyte activity and support more even cell turnover to brighten the complexion over time.
Pore Size & Oiliness
Blue and red light together reduce sebum production and the chronic low-grade inflammation that causes pores to appear enlarged.
How It Works
Wavelength-specific absorption
Each wavelength penetrates to a specific skin depth and is absorbed by different cell types. Blue (415nm) acts on the skin surface; red (630-660nm) reaches the dermis; near-infrared (830nm) penetrates the subcutaneous layer.
Photobiomodulation
Absorbed light energy triggers photochemical reactions within cells, stimulating ATP production, increasing fibroblast activity, and activating anti-inflammatory pathways, without generating heat.
Bacterial destruction (blue)
Blue light activates porphyrins naturally present inside acne-causing bacteria, generating reactive oxygen species that destroy the bacteria from within.
Minimal to zero downtime
LED is completely non-invasive and generates no thermal effect. Sessions are comfortable and skin can be treated at any stage in a treatment plan.
What to Expect
The Procedure
Sessions take 15 to 30 minutes. No preparation or numbing is required. An LED panel is positioned close to the skin and the eyes are covered. The treatment is completely comfortable, with no heat or sensation during the session.
Downtime
None. There is no redness, sensitivity, or recovery period. You can apply skincare and makeup immediately and resume all normal activities straight after.
Results & Longevity
Results are cumulative with regular sessions. For acne, improvement is typically noticeable after 4 to 6 sessions. For collagen and skin quality, a course of 8 to 12 sessions produces the most visible change. Often used as ongoing maintenance.
