What to Expect
The Procedure
Sessions take 30 to 60 minutes. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Injections are made via fine needle or cannula depending on the area. Volume changes are visible immediately. Mild pressure at each injection site is normal.
Downtime
Mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness for 1 to 7 days depending on area. The under-eye area is more prone to bruising. Avoid heat, strenuous exercise, and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment.
Results & Longevity
Results are visible immediately, with the final appearance settling at 2 to 4 weeks once any swelling fully resolves. HA fillers last 9 to 18 months depending on the area and product used. Results are reversible with hyaluronidase at any time.
