How It Works
Acid application
A carefully selected acid solution is applied to the skin, where it penetrates to a controlled depth and begins breaking down intercellular bonds.
Controlled exfoliation
As the peel works, the outermost layers of damaged or pigmented skin separate and peel away over the following days, revealing fresher skin underneath.
Collagen stimulation
Medium and deep peels trigger a wound-healing response that stimulates new collagen production, improving skin texture and elasticity beyond superficial exfoliation.
Peeling and recovery
Mild peels cause minimal visible peeling. Medium-depth peels involve visible shedding over 5-7 days. All peels require diligent sun protection during recovery.
What to Expect
The Procedure
Sessions take 20 to 45 minutes. The skin is cleansed and prepped. The peel solution is applied and left for a specific duration. Most customers feel mild tingling or warmth. The peel is then neutralised or allowed to self-neutralise depending on type.
Downtime
Superficial peels: mild redness for a few hours, skin may feel tight for a day or two. Medium-depth peels: visible peeling and shedding over 5 to 7 days. Diligent sun protection is essential for 2 to 4 weeks after all peels.
Results & Longevity
Improved brightness and texture visible within days as the skin renews. Full result is apparent once peeling completes. Superficial peels can be repeated monthly; medium-depth peels less frequently. Results are cumulative with a regular programme.
